FEE SCHEDULE

COPY EDITING

Light Editing Fee: $20-$35 per hour
This includes style, grammar, punctuation and spelling check.

Medium Editing Fee: $25-$40 per hour
Style, grammar, punctuation, spelling, plot and characterization.

Heavy Editing Fee: $30-50 per hour
Style, grammar, spelling, punctuation, plot, characterization and overall readability. We will provide suggestions for improvement and possible markets, (up to five).

What can you expect?
Our critique services are based on honesty. We all need reality checks; we’ll provide an overview of your work and what you need to do to make your work marketable. We can not guarantee manuscripts will sell because of the myriad reasons why publishing editors turn down even excellent manuscripts. But we can greatly improve your chances!

DEVELOPMENTAL and DESIGN EDITING

This involves editing graphics, charts, tables, pictures for style consistency, and suggestions for reorganizing or restructuring page layout.

Fee: $70 per hour (avg.)
Cost depends upon complexity of content and extent of graphics, (charts, tables, pictures, frames, lines, etc.). Creation of original graphics is limited at this present time and subject to fees.
